Metacoda Plug-ins are licensed on an annual renewal subscription basis. You will be familiar with this model from your use of SAS® software.

We have two types of subscription license available for Metacoda Plug-ins.


    Suitable for individual organizations with one or more SAS platform administrators using Metacoda Plug-ins to access multiple SAS metadata servers (within a single organization). The table below shows the contents of our three license packages; Starter, Premium and Enterprise.

    Suitable for service provider organizations managing and/or hosting multiple SAS platform installations for their multiple clients who want to use Metacoda Security Plug-ins as part of their service offering. Metacoda Security Plug-ins can be used by both the service provider and their clients. The Service Provider license can be tailored to meet your needs. Please contact us to discuss.


A subscription license for Metacoda Plug-ins includes access to the Metacoda Customer Portal, giving you access to ongoing software updates, documentation and technical support for the term of your license.

Our Metacoda Utility Plug-ins are available at no cost if you’re not yet ready for a full Metacoda Security Plug-ins license. Also Metacoda Custom Tasks are available at no cost for SAS® Enterprise Guide® and SAS® Add-In for Microsoft Office users. Simply register for a Metacoda Customer Portal login, download the software and start using them.
