Metacoda Plug-ins: System Requirements
Metacoda Software License
A Metacoda Software License File is required to fully enable Metacoda Plug-ins. This license file is sent via email to Metacoda customers when they purchase a commercial license (or apply for an evaluation license) and after each annual renewal of the license.
Starting with version 3.0, the ACT Reviewer and Metadata Explorer plug-ins are also being made available at no cost to registered users. In the absence of a license file these two plug-ins are fully enabled and all of the other plug-ins (User Reviewer, Group Reviewer etc) run in Limited Evaluation Mode. Plug-ins running in Limited Evaluation Mode will display only a small subset of your metadata for the purposes of evaluating/demonstrating the software features.
SAS® Software Requirements
Metacoda Plug-ins are designed to run within the SAS Management Console and must be installed on a workstation that already has SAS Management Console software installed.
There are 3 versions of Metacoda Plug-ins available for the 3 major SAS software versions our customers use. The following table outlines which version of Metacoda Plug-ins should be used with which SAS software version.

The latest version of Metacoda Plug-ins is 3.0 and is available for use with both SAS 9.3 and SAS 9.2. The previous Metacoda Plug-ins 2.0 has been replaced by version 3.0. If you would like to use Metacoda Plug-ins with SAS 9.1.3 SP4 you will need to use the older Metacoda Plug-ins 1.0 which is still supported. Whilst the older 1.0 release was available for use with SAS 9.2 we now recommend the use of 3.0 with SAS 9.2. Version 3.0 provides additional components and features specifically for use with SAS 9.2 and SAS 9.3. These include the new Role Reviewer, Capability Reviewer, Internal Login Reviewer, Identity Permissions Explorer, Object Permissions Explorer, and Metadata Explorer which are not available in the 1.0 release.

Operating System
Metacoda Plug-ins are supported on any operating system where the SAS Management Console can be installed.

Metacoda Plug-ins are currently available for English language platforms only. Please contact us if you need Metacoda Plug-ins for any other languages.
